Born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Llany began her art studies with the painter Emil Taboada at the age of 17. From 2005 to 2006 she completed workshops with a focus on color and human drawing at the Art University of Morelos, Mexico with Master Huascar Taborga. In 2006 she attended the Institute of Arts in Brisbane, Australia, where she led workshops of human figure drawing and oil painting. From 2013 to 2014 Llany received the Darmasiswa scholarship to study Indonesian art and subsequently excelled in the study of contemporary batik in Indonesia. She also worked independently in the Leksa Ganesha Gallery of Mas Tatang Elmy Wibowo, a contemporary Indonesian artist. As a result of this experience, she is currently developing new artistic methods that include Mexican pre-hispanic patterns.

“Over time, I developed a personal style, rooted in the depths of dreams and longings of an alternate reality. Through my work I want to transcend the eye of the beholder, leaving him or her a sense of reflection, nostalgia, peace, and hope.”
